Terms of Use

Rooms is a place to talk, hang out, and vibe with your friends in real time, your own amigo, always up for a chat. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Rooms. By creating an account or using Rooms, you agree to these Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Rooms. By using Rooms, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Rooms exists so people can talk, laugh, and spend time together, from a quick catch-up to hanging out all night with your crew. To keep that space good for everyone, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users in voice, chat, or reactions.
• Share illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or violent content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or overload Rooms' infrastructure.
• Use Rooms to spam, scam, or solicit other users.

We may remove content, suspend rooms, or terminate accounts that violate these standards, at our discretion.

Anything you say or share in a room is heard or seen by the other participants in that room. Public rooms are visible to anyone browsing Rooms; private rooms require an invite. You are solely responsible for what you share, and should treat voice conversations with the same care you would any live conversation.

Rooms and its branding, design, and features are owned by Assemble. You retain ownership of content you create or share, but grant us a limited license to transmit, display, and store it as necessary to operate the service.

You may stop using Rooms and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your conduct harms Rooms or its community.

Rooms is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and we are not responsible for the conduct or content of other users.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rooms and Assemble are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Rooms after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date below whenever changes are made.
